Sipping and nibbling on the menu at Chartier
From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the blooming bus will be parked outside Chartier (5012 50 St. in Beaumont), and guests can pick out flowers to enhance their evening at the restaurant. Flowers can be pre-ordered by visiting this link, or you can just show up on the 20th and select the perfect arrangement to present to your dinner date on the spot.
Then on Sunday, July 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Sunday Spirit Club at Chartier celebrates summer cocktails. The restaurant’s own bar manager, Calvin Teufeld, will work with Chris Krock from Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits to create a fun cocktail lineup, with recipes. You can get more information on Facebook.
If you’ve never been to a farm supper in the summer, there’s time to remedy that sad situation with an evening by Chartier and the Old Red Barn. Restaurant staff is creating a dairy-themed dinner on a working dairy farm as part of Alberta Open Farm Days. Tickets are available on Facebook. The event is Sunday, Aug. 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tickets are $125 per person.
